Getting started with Meta Hub
Boomi Meta Hub Glossary is available through Boomi's Early Access program, which provides early versions of Boomi innovations on an "as is" basis, without warranties. Early Access features are not final production releases, are not covered under Boomi's service agreements or support services, and are not intended for production use. Boomi works to address issues raised during Early Access and welcomes participant feedback. Any feedback you provide - whether ideas, suggestions, code, or recommendations, and whether oral or written - is irrevocably assigned to Boomi, LP. By participating, you confirm that you have the authority to provide that feedback, that you will not assert any intellectual property claims against Boomi, and that Boomi may freely implement the feedback without violating any party's rights. Because Early Access features are still under development, a feature may not reach general availability, and Boomi cannot guarantee that any particular innovation will be released in a supported form. Some innovations may be available only as open source or for specific runtime configurations. Documentation may be provided as PDFs, online, or through Community forums.
Refer to the Early Access page to view current programs and request Early Access for a specific feature.
Overview
Meta Hub is a Boomi platform feature designed to centralize and manage metadata across your organization. It enables users to define, discover, and govern shared business terms—known as glossaries—to ensure consistent understanding of data and its meaning across systems, integrations, and teams.
Meta Hub helps organizations establish a single source of truth for business metadata, promoting clarity, reducing duplication, and improving collaboration between technical and business users.
With Meta Hub, you can:
- create and manage business glossaries and their definitions.
- track glossary publication and endorsement workflows.
- maintain transparency into who creates, updates, and approves business terms.
Meta Hub is particularly useful for:
- data stewards and admins managing business data governance.
- developers integrating business metadata into automated workflows.
- business users who need visibility into approved and standardized data terminology.
