Boomi Enterprise Platform September 2026 Release Notes

These release notes identify the new features and bug fixes in the Boomi Enterprise Platform in September 2026.

Subject to the terms and conditions of our existing contract with your firm, and liability provisions and limits therein, we confirm that Boomi has successfully passed all applicable test cases associated with the updates identified in this product release.

Platform

Several fixes and enhancements were introduced during this release, such as improvements to CORS handling and the Two-Factor Authentication UI.

AI Agent Management

Agentstudio adds tool creation from within Agent Designer, plus test panel improvements, MCP multi-remote support, and admin session log access. Two bugs were also fixed: truncated API request bodies and incorrect authentication mapping on spec upload.

Runtime

This release focuses on distributed tracing, execution troubleshooting, and platform security. It extends inbound OpenTelemetry trace propagation from external callers through process execution, and adds richer OpenTelemetry infrastructure metrics. Integration

This release includes enhancements to the Agent step, including a runtime selector and global variable compatibility. A warning displays before you delete a branch with active child branches as orphaned branches cannot be merged into the main branch. This release also resolves issues in Process Reporting and global variables, as well as other fixes and improvements.

Platform API and Partner API

This release includes enhancements to the AuditLog API, IntegratrionPackInstance API, and the ExecutionRecord API. Additionally, the TradingPartner and SharedCommunicationChannel APIs support the new JMS communication method.

Connectivity

This release features a new partner connector from Atina JDE EnterpriseOne™ as well as improvements to the Database, Flow Services Server, IMAP, JMS, Kafka, Microsoft Sharepoint, Salesforce REST, Solace PubSub+, and Workday PRISMS Analytics connectors among others.

Connectivity Development

This release includes OAuth 2.0 improvements, such as the addition of PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) to all Authorization Code connections, including HTTP Client connector connections.

Data Hub

This release fixes several reliability and security issues: a deadlock in early delta detection sources, reference search for GUID-formatted titles, a privilege gap letting view-only users reach the glossary editor, accelerated query resync after entity ID swaps, purged records reappearing during Universe Sync, simplified real-time topic naming, and stale timestamps on real-time DELETE messages.

B2B/EDI Management

This release introduces JMS as a new Trading Partner communication method, supporting inbound and outbound messaging, Shared Communication Channel configuration, and API support, now available as a Tech Preview connector. API Management

This release adds API policy templates, allowing you to group API policy configurations under a single template. These templates are automatically discovered in API Control Plane. Also added new OpenAPI deployment controls and outbound mutual TLS support for on-premises gateways.

Event Streams

This release expands the Event Streams connector with new capabilities and reliability hardening. It introduces REST endpoints for consuming messages over HTTP adds connector-managed dead letter routing for Exclusive and Failover Listen subscriptions so a single failing message no longer blocks the rest of the subscription, and exposes Topic, Subscription, and Subscription Type as default Document...

Marketplace

This release adds Solution Graphs to the Marketplace, so customers can visualize a solution before installing it.

Managed File Transfer

This release includes a new SDK-based Boomi Managed File Transfer connector that directly interfaces with the Content API.
