Boomi Enterprise Platform September 2025 Release Notes

These release notes identify the new features and bug fixes in the Boomi Enterprise Platform in September 2025. Features and fixes that are in the Runtime release are indicated. Links to additional information will appear here on the date of the Platform release.

Subject to the terms and conditions of our existing contract with your firm, and liability provisions and limits therein, we confirm that Boomi has successfully passed all applicable test cases associated with the updates identified in this product release.

Platform

This release brings several enhancements and fixes to improve the user experience in the Boomi Enterprise Platform. Various UI and performance issues have been addressed, including fixing the folder icon visibility in dark mode and improving the resource tile background in the Welcome section.

This release adds MCP tool integration, Platform JWT authentication for API tools, and Structured Input/Output mode for agents to send and receive JSON. Users can now view agent details in a read-only panel, install marketplace agents, while Agent Control Tower gains Copilot support, activity logs, anomaly detection, and new management options.

Runtime

This release enhances monitoring, observability, and scalability with native OpenTelemetry support, Kubernetes-native Elastic Executions, and new runtime cloud management APIs—enabling real-time insights, efficient scaling, and easier automation for large-scale integration environments.

Integration

This release includes several enhancements and fixes to improve the user experience and platform stability. You can now revert or delete an active merge request from the platform. Additionally, the License Enforcement feature has been disabled across all accounts to ensure full licensing compliance and recover unpaid fees.

Platform API and Partner API

There are no updates to the Platform API and Partner API in this release.

Connectivity

This release features a new Kintone (Tech Preview) connector that adds the ability to create, update, query, and delete records in Kintone apps. There are also a number of improvements to many other connectors including Database V2, JMS V2, Kafka, Oracle Database, and Workday among others.

Flow

This release enhances Flow with 1GB file uploads, PostgreSQL 17+ support, improved Flow export, clickable runtime charts, and Docker install commands. It adds table cell embedding for Custom Components, supports larger solutions with .package2, improves security with Alpine-based MCR, and removes subtenant creation via a feature flag.

DataHub

This release adds a new API to reset field-level source agreements, helping unblock stuck records. The DataHub Connector now supports including reference titles and sampling ambiguous matches in failed entity matches. Backend tag processing after deployments has been optimized, and large-scale deletions now run asynchronously to prevent timeouts. Fixes include correct handling of updated reference...

Data Integration

This release expands Source-to-Target River with new targets (Amazon S3, GCS, Azure Blob, Email), enhances Database CDC reliability, upgrades the Snowflake driver for better performance, and introduces new Shopify GraphQL and Boomi for SAP sources.

B2B/EDI Management

This release includes support for unfolded headers in AS2 messages, improving compatibility with trading partners and preparing the platform for upcoming changes in custom document standard processing.

API Management

This release introduces the Send to Boomi Integration for one-click OpenAPI specification imports in API Control Plane, discovery of Apigee X/hybrid APIs, and the MCP Bridge for exposing RESTful API Products to AI agents (Tech Preview). The API Gateway now includes OpenTelemetry support for improved API performance monitoring.

Event Streams

The updated Event Streams Connector ensures strict FIFO message processing with infinite retries and exponential backoff, preventing message loss even during delays or failures. This enhancement supports mission-critical workflows by preserving message order and ensuring reliable, continuous data processing.

Marketplace

This release introduces an enhancement that enables users to install Designer Agents directly into Agent Garden from the Marketplace.

Boomi Labs

Boomi Spaces now supports OAuth 2.0 integration, which streamlines the authentication process for connecting with third-party Identity Providers (IDPs) from within the Spaces UI. The platform also includes programmatic intelligence for Process Properties. The Bundles service now supports the creation and deployment of AI Agents, expanding the range of assets users can bundle and deploy.
