Boomi Enterprise Platform May 2026 Release Notes

These release notes identify the new features and bug fixes in the Boomi Enterprise Platform in May 2026.

Subject to the terms and conditions of our existing contract with your firm, and liability provisions and limits therein, we confirm that Boomi has successfully passed all applicable test cases associated with the updates identified in this product release.

Platform

Boomi Orchestrate (available May 18, 2026 as Early Access) is an AI-driven experience that converts natural language business goals into cross-product solution drafts. Boomi Connect is now accessible from the Services menu and integrated into the Single Trial Path, automatically redirecting trial users to the Connect platform page after sign-up.

The MCP Registry in API Control Plane is a centralized hub that aggregates MCP servers from multiple sources and makes them immediately available in Agentstudio for agent configuration. API Control Plane chat endpoints are now accessible in Boomi GPT without CORS errors, and the DataDetective agent now supports paginated browsing with sorting and filtering.

Runtime

This release provides runtime cloud attachments the ability to enable observability and stream telemetry data to external monitoring applications of their choice. Additionally, several usability improvements for scheduling, time zone handling, and runtime property management.

Integration

This release introduces new Runtime and Environment Extensions access control, providing more control over user permissions. The Preserve Spaces option for XML profiles gives you control over space handling at the element level. There are improvements to PGP certificate creation and global variables. A new Bundle sharing feature is on the Build canvas.

Platform API and Partner API

This release includes enhancements to GraphQL and PGP certificates. The new SFTP communication method is supported in the TradingPartnerComponent and SharedCommunicationChannel. Additionally, the Component API includes the GlobalVariableReferences tag.

Connectivity

This release features a new Tech Preview of the NetSuite REST connector as well as improvements to the Database, Google Ad Manager, Intacct, REST Client, and Salesforce connectors among others.

Data Hub

This release adds API access to the Data Hub Repository OpenAPI spec and Golden Record profiling statistics, and resolves several connector and batch processing issues.

B2B/EDI Management

This release enhances the Trading Partner Management experience with new SDK connector support and improved SFTP capabilities. The EDI Custom Standard feature enables greater flexibility for all users by default. Additionally, the Global Variables dropdown is supported in Trading Partner communication methods.

API Management

This release enhances API security and observability with mitigations for high-risk vulnerabilities and expanded telemetry capabilities. You gain new programmatic configuration APIs, allowing management of runtime properties and gateway settings. Additionally, the platform introduces several usability improvements across the API lifecycle.

Event Streams

Dynamic Topic Routing is now available in Event Streams. You can define filter-based rules that evaluate incoming message properties and route each message to a different output topic - without modifying the producing process. Marketplace

This release expands the Boomi Marketplace ecosystem by including Platform and MCP connectors as part of Marketplace solutions, along with a dedicated space to explore MCP connectors from Boomi Connect.

Boomi Labs

This release introduces the Share widget for Integrations, with a dedicated tab for tracking share history.
