Boomi Enterprise Platform May 2025 Release Notes

These release notes identify the new features and bug fixes in the Boomi Enterprise Platform in May 2025.

Subject to the terms and conditions of our existing contract with your firm, and liability provisions and limits therein, we confirm that Boomi has successfully passed all applicable test cases associated with the updates identified in this product release.

Platform

This update introduces a new, interactive dashboard to help you manage the data in your account more effectively.

This update introduces the Agentstudio, API Design Agent, Integration Advisor Agent, and enhancements to DataDetective, including new formats and privileges. Improvements were made to intent classification, API documentation, and AI feedback options. Fixes address version comparisons, agent labeling, and terminology recognition.

Runtime

This update includes enhancements to the Dedicated Cloud service, User privilege improvements, and changes to the Atom Queue Connector and Cloud Management privilege. It also includes functional improvements and fixes to provide you with a more manageable runtime environment service.

Integration

This update introduces the Agent step, which integrates Boomi Agents into Integration workflows. Users can exclude components during merge reviews for better control. A link to Boomi GPT enables component diffs in Revision History. There are improvements to JSON profile functionality, and new rate limits apply to Partner SOAP API override accounts.

Platform API and Partner API

Updates include improved control when merging branches with the API, enhanced validation in component APIs to prevent errors, and added more flexibility to API rate limiting for Partner API requests. Added support for new data fields and formats to B2B components for better compatibility and data handling.

Connectivity

This update includes a new connector, the OANDA Exchange Rate API - Partner connector. It also provides functionality updates for several other connectors, such as IAM Roles Anywhere authentication for the OpenAPI connector.

DataHub

This update adds support for sample ambiguous match results, 4-byte UTF8 text fields, improved source validation during deployments, and new platform links. Fixes improve record restoration, outbound integrity handling, purging reliability, log ordering, historical metrics, and API response accuracy.

B2B/EDI Management

Updates include better support for dynamic values in the FHIR Client connector, MLLP settings now allow messages without end data characters, improvements to the Tradacoms and EDIFACT Connector Record objects, and the ability to select branches in Trading Partner Management if Branching and Merging is enabled.

API Management

This update introduces the MuleSoft agent, enabling users to discover MuleSoft APIs directly within the API Control Plane. Users can rapidly design APIs and generate comprehensive OpenAPI specifications by providing natural language descriptions, leveraging the new API Design Agent.

Flow

This update includes an option to exclude the Runtime user's JWT from the authorization query string, replacing it with a short-lived one-time use token, and a new documentation section, Legacy Runtime, to consolidate legacy Runtime UI documentation.

Event Streams

This update introduces a new Acknowledge operation with key features that provide greater flexibility for acknowledging messages at any point in the process.
