Boomi Enterprise Platform March 2026 Release Notes

These release notes identify the new features and bug fixes in the Boomi Enterprise Platform in March 2026.

Subject to the terms and conditions of our existing contract with your firm, and liability provisions and limits therein, we confirm that Boomi has successfully passed all applicable test cases associated with the updates identified in this product release.

Platform

This release enhances the Boomi platform with the introduction of the Event Notifcations API and the seamless migration of Legacy account users to Okta. Several usability enhancements were made as well, such as the ability to add GCP secrets in the Platform UI.

This release introduces a new Model Configuration section in Agent Designer, letting you choose between Standard and Fast models and enable Extended Thinking for deeper reasoning. It also adds in-product tooltips in Agent Garden and brings the DataDetective agent to General Availability.

Integration

This release enhances the functionality and visibility of global variables. You can enable execution history archive on the runtime, providing long-term execution data access and storage. Additional updates include changes to the visibility of configuration options for public X.509 certificates.

Platform API and Partner API

This release includes a new `CloudAttachmentProperties` API to programmatically set and manage cloud attachment configurations and updates to the Shared Communication Channel API and Trading Partner component API to support encryption and signing enforcement options.

Connectivity

This release features a new partner connector from Bright Data as well as the GA release of the OpenAI, ServiceNow REST, and Workday connectors. There have been many improvements to other connectors including Kafka, Netsuite, Slack, HubSpot CRM, Oracle Database, Kintone, and Snowflake among others.

Connectivity Development

This release introduces the concept of tags for connector developers, and the new connectorMetadata API that allows developers to update their connector metadata programmatically.

DataHub

This release enhances the collection profiling performance containing large paragraph-style values.

B2B/EDI Management

This release enhances the B2B platform with new encryption and signing enforcement options across APIs and user interfaces. You can configure new custom runtime properties to control asynchronous MDN processing when sending data over AS2. The user experience has also been improved with fixes for UI text overflow and consistent help icons.

API Management

In this release, API gateway agents for Boomi Cloud API Management environments are now automatically provisioned, registered, and managed by Boomi. Made enhancements to the Swagger Try-It-Out feature in Developer and Administration Portals.

Boomi Labs

This release enhances the Spaces user experience with a streamlined Install/Edit wizard and improved usage tracking. Data mapping transformations receive additional capabilities, bolstering integration flexibility. You can now include API services within your Bundles, providing more flexibility in how you package and share your solution assets.
