Boomi Enterprise Platform July 2025 Release Notes

These release notes identify the new features and bug fixes in the Boomi Enterprise Platform in July 2025. Features and fixes that are in the Runtime release are indicated. Links to additional information will appear here on the date of the Platform release.

Subject to the terms and conditions of our existing contract with your firm, and liability provisions and limits therein, we confirm that Boomi has successfully passed all applicable test cases associated with the updates identified in this product release.

Platform

This release brings several enhancements and fixes to improve the user experience in the Boomi Enterprise Platform. Various UI and performance issues have been addressed, including fixing the folder icon visibility in dark mode and improving the resource tile background in the Welcome section.

Agent Designer adds feedback buttons and markdown image support, with cleaner invocation metrics for clarity. Agent Control Tower adds a Salesforce Provider and a Bedrock agent pause functionality. Integration Advisor Agent flags risks in Try/Catch and Route steps. Boomi Answers now shows images and uses video information in responses. Fixes improve YAML imports and API tool behavior.

Runtime

This release introduces various enhancements for better governance of your runtimes, including a new RuntimeCloud API for managing private runtime clouds, with audit logging and new metadata fields for tracking changes. Also included in this release are the quarterly Java and Docker images updates, which include the latest security patches.

Integration

With this release, you can selectively merge components during a merge request using the Boomi Enterprise Platform. The merge dialog dynamically reflects any exclusions made in the merge request. You can search and refresh the agent configuration panel for a better experience finding agents. This release also includes enhancements to the Boomi AtomSphere Partner API connector.

Platform API and Partner API

This release introduces branch awareness to the Shared Communication Channel Component, Organization Component, Trading Partner Processing Group, and Trading Partner Component objects. You can now use these APIs with specific branches, rather than just the main branch.

Connectivity

This release features a new Excel connector that provides support for importing annotated Excel templates to generate structured JSON profiles. There are also a number of improvements to many other connectors including Google Workspace, Kafka, Marketo REST, MQTT, NetSuite, Oracle Database, SAP S/4HANA OData, ServiceNow REST, and Veeva among others.

DataHub

This release improves DataHub with better error messages, updated statistics, and API support for pagination and Accelerated Queries. It also adds 4-byte UTF8 support in Singapore and Japan clouds, enhancing matching with some model size impact.

Data Integration

This release brings TLS 1.2, a modern encryption for secure webhooks and AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2) as a newly supported region. It also introduces TikTok unified reporting, smarter source and target enhancements, and richer analytics across Reddit, Adobe, and Campaign Manager 360.

B2B/EDI Management

API Management

This updates introduces new read-only privileges and HTTP/2 support in the API Gateway. Boomi API Control Plane Manager users with API Control Plane entitlements can now self-provision API Control Plane tenants.

Event Streams

This release introduces enhanced consumer configurations for the 'Consume with Ack Later' functionality via new container properties; offering you more control to suit your runtime needs.

Boomi Labs

This release introduces several enhancements to Spaces with the addition of Boomi Integration Packs listings. Key changes include a new schema design, database updates, and API modifications to accommodate Integration Pack listings.
