Boomi Platform enforces mandatory MFA for all new accounts, with email-based verification as a new option alongside authenticator apps.
- Email-based MFA option: You can now use your registered email as your MFA verification method in addition to a time-based one-time password (TOTP) authenticator app. When you enroll in MFA, you choose between receiving a one-time code to your registered email address or using an authenticator app to generate a code. Email MFA is available for all new accounts in this release. Existing accounts will be migrated in a subsequent phase.
- MFA method switching and reset: After enrolling, you can switch between email and authenticator app verification methods or reset your MFA configuration at any time from the Authentication page. When you switch methods, your existing method stays active until you verify the new one, preventing accidental lockout. To reset MFA, you are immediately prompted to re-enroll. You cannot disable MFA entirely.
- Platform-wide MFA enforcement:
- New accounts: MFA is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.
- Security tab toggle removed: The Enforce 2FA toggle is removed from the Security tab for all customers. Accounts that previously had this toggle enabled remain in the required and on state.
- Disable MFA button removed: The option to disable MFA is removed from the Authentication page UI. Account-wide mandatory MFA for all existing accounts will roll out in a future phase. (PS-12330)

The Licensing & Usage page includes a Multiplan View for accounts with more than one active plan. Instead of landing on a single plan's dashboard, you see a summary page listing all your active plans as individual cards. Each card shows the plan name, edition, tier (where applicable), capacity used versus total, a usage progress bar, and forecast status. Cards are color-coded: green for on track, amber for at risk, or red for over capacity. You can select View Detail on any card to open that plan's full usage dashboard. (ONE-699)
-
The Usage Summary widget on the Boomi platform homepage has been updated for multi-plan accounts. Instead of showing a single plan's data, the widget now displays a horizontally scrollable carousel with a mini-card per active plan. Each mini-card shows the plan name, usage versus capacity, and a status indicator giving you a quick health check across all your plans without leaving the homepage. (ONE-685)
