Managed File Transfer Release Notes for September 2026

Released a new SDK-based Boomi Managed File Transfer connector that directly interfaces with the Content API and replaces one-file-at-a-time downloads with batch downloads in a single execution, streams transfers to handle multi-gigabyte files, and adds Start step support for native Replay/Reprocess of failed files. It also moves authentication to OAuth2 client credentials (overridable per environment) and delivers file metadata as tracked document properties.

The original connector is renamed to "Boomi Managed File Transfer (Legacy)". The new connector requires the endpoint type Boomi MFT Connector to connect to your MFT account. (AFT-1070)

This feature is not in the Runtime release.
