Managed File Transfer Release Notes for October 2026

Introduced native log export for Managed File Transfer, which captures File Activity, Schedule Activity, and Audit events as immutable records and delivers them to your AWS account through S3 cross-account replication. Available for Dedicated Tenant environments on AWS. To enable this feature, contact your Boomi account representative. (AFT-717)

Improved folder creation for SFTP and FTPS transfers to check only the folders needed within your configured server path. Transfers no longer fail when you don't have read access above that path. (AFT-1419)
Added an optional Account field to the External FTPS endpoint form. Use it to supply the account value that servers require for the FTP ACCT command during authentication. Existing connections without an account configured are unaffected. (AFT-1392, AFT-1394)
Updated the upload widget in the Flow Studio embed to load directly from your own domain instead of a third-party content delivery network. This improves security and ensures the widget renders reliably under strict content security policies. (AFT-1492)
Updated UI terminology across Organization, Admin, Flow Studio, and email alerts to replace Thru branding with MFT. For example, Thru Node is now MFT Runtime, and Thru FTPS is now MFT FTPS. (AFT-54, AFT-1256)

Resolved an issue where a node could get stuck rejecting its own re-registration after a slow heartbeat response, requiring a manual service restart to recover. Nodes now recover and resume processing automatically without intervention. (AFT-1403)
Resolved an issue where a duplicate scheduling message could reset a completed file transfer back to scheduled status. This prevented files from being delivered a second time to the target endpoint. (AFT-1191)
