API Management Release Notes for November 2025
API Control Plane
- You could not set a password for newly-created users of self-hosted developer portals. (ACP-2151)
- After deleting an OpenAPI specification file and uploading a new file to create a new version, the specification file failed to load. (ACP-2589)
Cloud API Management
-
Due to changes in Okta, Administrators were unable to assign any role to newly created users in Boomi Okta-enabled areas. The Okta configuration has been updated to resolve this issue. (WA-16916)
-
Newly migrated users on the Platform with the
Cloud API Management Userrole were unable to assign the Portal Access Group role (custom role) to existing Cloud API Management users on the User Access Settings page. This issue has now been fixed. (WA-16930)
API Gateway
- Released Platform patch 25.11.2, which fixed an issue with the branchDetails functionality when the Branching and Merging feature is enabled with Extended Feature Property. Previously, users experienced issues accessing branch metadata and API Gateway pages (Deployed APIs, API Lifecycle, and Manage APIs). This patch resolves the access problems, restoring full functionality to viewing branch details across Boomi API Gateway pages. (APIM-18688)
API Control Plane
-
API Control Plane Administrators can now create up to 10 Boomi-managed Developer Portals. Each portal can be uniquely configured, branded, and governed to serve different API product strategies. (ACP-1292)
Refer to Developer Portal Configuration.
Retirement Notice: In the November 2025 release, all entities in API Control Plane consume and return UUIDs instead of integer IDs. Integer IDs are accepted for incoming requests, but all responses will only contain the UUID. Integer IDs will be fully retired in early 2026.
