API Management Release Notes for June 2026

June 30 2026

Cloud API Management

New
We added these features
  • You can now control which organizations can use a domain for their public endpoints. Previously, any organization within an area could use any allowlisted domain, making it easy for the wrong environment to accidentally use a domain it shouldn't have access to. Now, administrators can restrict a domain to a specific organization. Once restricted, the domain is visible and selectable only within that specific organization; any other organization in the same area will not have access to it when setting up their public endpoint address, ensuring each environment uses only the domains intended for it. You can set this up from Manage > Domains or Manage > Organizations. (WA-17314)

Refer to Assigning organizations to a domain and Managing Organization Domains for more information.

  • Area administrators can now view their Area Encryption Key directly in Control Center. The key is generated by a Boomi Account Representative upon request and can be viewed only once, upon generation, in the Area information pop-up window. You must save the area encryption key securely before closing the window, as it cannot be retrieved again through the Control Center UI. (WA-17139)

Refer to Viewing the area encryption key for more information.

Fix
We fixed this issue
  • The Developer registration page returned 500 Internal Server Error, blocking new user registrations. (WA-18007)

Cloud API Management

New
We added these features
  • The Call Transformations UI now offers an updated experience for discovering and applying Boomi-developed pre-processing and post-processing policies to API endpoints. The new UI includes a searchable policy picker that auto-populates configuration fields, displays inline help text for each parameter, and automatically enforces chaining rules, eliminating the need to look up policy configuration values in the Policies documentation. (WA-16449)

    note

This feature is enabled by default for new customers on Cloud API Management and Boomi Cloud API Management – Local Edition (Tethered). Existing customers can request to opt in by contacting the Boomi Account Representative. Currently, only pre-built policies can be configured. Custom policies are not supported and are planned for a future release.

Refer to Configuring Call Transformations in Policy UI for more information.

  • The Interactive Documentation now supports creating I/O Docs for GraphQL endpoints on Cloud API Management, in addition to REST and SOAP. You can now create and manage I/O Docs for GraphQL endpoints and make those endpoints available for developers on the Developer Portal. (WA-16950)

Refer to Creating and modifying I/O Doc in Control Center for more information.

  • The Developer Portal > I/O Doc section now includes a new embedded GraphQL editor that lets you test and view GraphQL APIs. (WA-16950)

Refer to Leveraging your GraphQL API Interactive Documentation for more information.

Fix
We fixed this issue
  • Previously, the Import API from Boomi Platform feature did not work as expected. Importing the Boomi Platform API Service in Cloud API Management returned an unexpected JSON error. This issue has been fixed. (WA-17915)

Cloud API Management

Fix
We fixed these issues
  • Previously, the key and secret masking feature on the Developer Portal did not work as expected on the My Applications and the application paginated keys view (Applications > View Keys) page. This issue has now been fixed. The Show Keys & Secrets toggle now correctly masks and unmasks API keys and secrets across all Portal sections. (WA-17346)

  • Previously, creating a package key for an application through the REST API in Cloud API Management returned a 500 Internal Server Error when the Support Multiple Package Keys feature flag was enabled for an area. This issue has now been fixed. (WA-17763)
