  • Agent Designer now supports OAuth 2.0 and 2.1 authentication for API tools and MCP servers, enabling secure connections to external services like Google and Slack. Agents can retrieve user-specific data—such as calendar events or files—once the user grants access, opening up powerful possibilities to leverage Boomi Agents for personal productivity workflows.

    In Conversational agent mode, agents prompt users to sign in to enable interaction with the agent. For security and compatibility, agents in Structured mode or using Agent step do not support OAuth since they cannot complete multi-turn, conversational flows.   • Agent Designer now seamlessly integrates with API Control Plane, allowing you to easily discover and use existing APIs as tools for your AI Agents. This integration enhances functionality and streamlines the process of building more capable, connected agents. Once connected, Agent Designer automatically retrieves API details from your API Control Plane account. You can import these APIs as draft tools, edit them as needed, and even auto-generate input parameters based on API metadata or descriptions to accelerate setup.

    You can create, update, activate, deactivate, and delete API Control Plane sources directly within Agent Designer. You can update a source by selecting new endpoints to bring in additional tools. You can only delete sources and tools when they are not associated with an agent. Note that you can only deactivate an API Control Plane source when all its associated tools are deactivated.   • Activity logs in Agent Control Tower now tracks when Amazon Bedrock agents, Salesforce agents and Microsoft Copilot agents are Enabled or Disabled. (AGCT-3392)

  • Custom accounts in Agent Control Tower now have an "Added Via" section on the Account Details page to distinguish if an account is added via the Registry or through the AI Catalog feature. (AGCT- 3387)

  • The Agent Control Tower now displays details about MCP sources and API Control plane under Tools for Boomi Agent Garden agents. These details include input parameters, the source, and associated tasks. (AGCT-3101)

Fix
We fixed these issues

  • Clicking the Agent Designer button from the Agent Garden screen now correctly opens the Agent Builder dialog on smaller screens when Masthead 2.0 is enabled. (BI-10948)

  • Agent execution no longer fails when API tools return any response code in the 2xx range (202, 204, etc), allowing agents to continue running. (BI-11049)

  • Structured agents in Agent Garden are now supported in the Agent step. (AGCT-2983)

  • Editing a deactivated or active tool in Agent Designer no longer incorrectly changes its status to Draft after saving. (BI-11316)

  • If Agent Designer fails to receive updates to MCP tools, the failure no longer causes missing status text, broken tooltips, and unnecessary confirmation popups when you have not made edits. (BI-10634)

  • The Test Connection button in MCP source creation is now enabled only after you enter all required authentication fields, preventing premature test attempts. (BI-10793)

Fix
We fixed this issue
  • Boomi GPT no longer displays incorrect "daily limit reached" errors after hitting quota limits, resolving an issue that prevented usage even after reset. (BI-11005)
