Getting Started with Marketplace

Prerequisites​

To perform any actions on Marketplace, you must have a valid Boomi account. If you do not have an account, visit marketplace.boomi.com/sign-up to complete the registration process and unlock the full features.

Accessing Marketplace

Log in to the Boomi Enterprise Platform. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select any of the Marketplace tiles, or navigate directly using the following link: Marketplace.

Discover Navigation

After signing in, you can effortlessly browse and install solutions, initiating your Boomi journey with access to pre-built templates, including Recipes, Accelerators, and Agents.

Key Terms

  • Accelerators: Comprehensive services, including personalized support from professional services for implementing Boomi solutions.

  • Agents: Software entities created with defined goals and characteristics, enabling automation and execution of specific tasks autonomously or with minimal human input.

    • AI Agents: Modular, AI-driven components designed to execute tasks, make decisions, and enhance workflows within the Boomi AI ecosystem. AI Agents include AI Agent Recipes and Accelerators.
    • Designer Agents: Agent Accelerators and Recipes created using Boomi's Agentstudio.

  • Recipes: Free, installable templates that include Integration and Flow assets.

  • Connectors: Connectors let you easily connect and integrate with third-party applications like Salesforce or NetSuite, and exchange data with them.

    • Platform Connectors: Platform-based connectors that facilitate Boomi integration and contain the information needed to connect to a data source or application.

    • MCP Connectors: MCP connectors are non-SDK, fabric-based connectors designed for Boomi’s Connect ecosystem. Unlike traditional connectors, they utilize a distinct publishing lifecycle and are managed through the MCP Registry and Gateway rather than Boomi's standard Runtime.

  • Task Automation: Components designed to streamline repetitive, manual activities by replacing human intervention with programmed logic. It typically operates on a Trigger-Action model to handle high-volume, low-complexity tasks.

Marketplace functionalities

  • Search and filter: This feature helps you navigate the solution catalog effectively.

  • Install Recipe: Easily install Recipes using the Marketplace user interface.

  • View Accelerators: You can view the accelerators posted to Marketplace and contact the Solution team if they need to install an accelerator solution.

  • Pre-installed AI Agents: Utilize the six pre-installed Platform AI agents on the platform without manual installation.

Only approved partners and authorized users can create and delete solutions in the Marketplace catalog. All users can install and copy available solutions.
