Setting a default Agent Garden environment

Environments organize your AI agents into logical groups so you can easily manage the region where your agents run. In addition to two default Agent Garden environments, you’ll see any environments you’ve created for Integration available in the Environments page.

You must link a runtime cloud to a production and test environment before you can deploy an agent. Refer to Agent runtime clouds and environments to learn more about what runtime clouds Agentstudio links automatically and which clouds are available. Refer to Linking an agent cloud to an environment for step-by-step guidance.

Set a default production and test environment to streamline your deployment workflow. Your default production environment appears first in the environment list when you deploy an agent and on the Environments page, whereas the default test environment appears first in the runtime dropdown on test panel.

If your team uses a specific environment most often, setting it as the default reduces clicks and saves time.

  1. Navigate to Environments.
  2. Select the Action icon.
  3. Select Set as default.
