Agent runtime clouds and environments
A runtime cloud is the regional infrastructure that executes your agents. You package and deploy an agent to an environment that is linked to a specific runtime.
There are four agent runtime clouds. Cloud availability depends on the location of your Boomi Platform:
| Boomi Platform | Available Runtime Clouds | Region |
|---|---|---|
| North America Platform | USA East Agent Garden Cloud 01 | United States |
| GBR Agent Garden Cloud 01 | United Kingdom | |
| Japan Agent Garden Cloud 01 | Japan | |
| ANZ Agent Garden Cloud 01 | Australia | |
| European Platform | GBR Agent Garden Cloud 01 | United Kingdom |
The North America Platform provides access to all four runtime clouds, while the European Platform provides access to GBR Agent Garden Cloud 01.
Linking runtimes to environments
An environment is the destination you deploy an agent package to. You link each environment to one runtime cloud, which controls where your agent runs geographically. Agent Garden classifies environments as Production or Test. Refer to Linking an agent runtime cloud to an environment to learn how to set up your runtime environment for agent deployment.
Default environments
Agent Garden provides two default environments.
- North America Platform: Agent Garden Production and Agent Garden Testing environments are both pre-linked to USA East Agent Garden Cloud 01.
- European Platform: Agent Garden Production and Agent Garden Testing environments are both pre-linked to GBR Agent Garden Cloud 01.
Integration environments
If your account has environments configured in Boomi Integration, those environments are automatically available in Agent Garden. However, they must be manually linked to a runtime cloud before you can deploy agents to them.
