Connecting to a Published MCP Server
Once an organization has set up MCP Servers that expose tools for the various connectors, end users will need to connect to these published connectors in their AI assistants. The following page provides instructions for setting up various AI assistants.
Claude
Complete the following to connect to a published MCP server in Claude:
- Sign in to your Claude account.
- Click your account name, then click Settings > Connectors.
- Find the MCP server connector published by your organization and select it.
- Click Connect.
- Complete the authorization workflow using your credentials.
- Open a new chat and enter a prompt. Claude will use the appropriate tools based on your requests.
ChatGPT
Complete the following to connect to a published MCP server in ChatGPT:
- Sign in to your ChatGPT account.
- Navigate to Settings > Apps & Connectors.
- Select the app published by your organization. Click Connect.
- Complete the authorization workflow using your credentials.
- Open a new chat and enter a prompt. ChatGPT will use the appropriate tools based on your requests.
