Access and permissions

Orchestrate is an Early Access release. Refer to the Early Access disclaimer for details.

Orchestrate is available to accounts enrolled in the Early Access program. Account administrators control whether they enable the feature for their account. Individual users must have the correct privilege to interact with Orchestrate.

Prerequisites

• You must have an active Boomi account.
• You must enroll your account in the Boomi Orchestrate Early Access program. Sign up to get access.
• You must accept the AI Terms and Conditions. This is the only activation item that blocks access to Boomi Orchestrate. Refer to Activating Boomi Orchestrate for the full acceptance workflow.
• Recommended: Accept the Event Streams Terms and Conditions to avoid interruptions when building or running integrations that use Event Streams.
• Recommended: Select Data Collection in Settings to enable personalized insights and feature recommendations. Refer to Data Collection for details.
• Only Global Navigation 2.0 supports Orchestrate. Rolling back to 1.0 removes feature access.
• Integration - Build access. Refer to Asset building privileges for details on required privileges for building solutions. Refer to User roles and privileges for how to add privileges.

Enabling Boomi Orchestrate for your account

Only account administrators can enable Boomi Orchestrate. Once enabled, access turns on for the entire account, not per individual user.

1. Sign in to the Boomi Platform.

2. Go to Settings > Features.

3. Turn Orchestrate on.

After enabling Orchestrate, the Activate Your Boomi Platform modal appears on the Home page. It presents a checklist for accepting the AI Terms and Conditions, Event Streams Terms and Conditions, and configuring Data Collection. Refer to Activating Boomi Orchestrate for details on completing the activation checklist.

To disable Boomi Orchestrate for your account, return to Settings > Features and turn Orchestrate off.

Non-admin access

If you are not an account administrator, you cannot enable Boomi Orchestrate. Your account administrator must enable it first.

Once Boomi Orchestrate is enabled for your account, you can access it if you have the Build Read and Write privilege in the Boomi Platform. Users without this privilege cannot see or interact with the Boomi Orchestrate experience.

Asset building privileges

Important considerations

• It takes approximately 15 minutes for privilege changes to sync in Orchestrate.
• If Orchestrate builds assets for a service you currently do not have activated, the asset node displays in the solution diagram with an Unlicensed status. Contact your account representative to activate the service and build the asset for the solution.

You need the following privileges for Orchestrate to build each asset type for a solution:

• Integration:
  • Build Read Write access
• Data Hub:
  • MDM - Edit Models
• APIM:
  • APIM Build Read Write access
  • API Control Plane Administrator access
• Event Streams:
  • Event Streams - Administrator (Read/ Write access)
• Agentstudio:
  • Agent Create
