Getting started in Command Center

The Command Center powered by ServiceNow simplifies data management by providing a dynamic 360-degree visualization of golden records from Data Hub storage. The golden record visualization presents metadata in a way that lets business stakeholders gain insights into the data’s context, history, and quality.

Prerequisites

You don't need a ServiceNow account to utilize the Command Center. However, you will need to do the following to get started:

• Register your user account with the Command Center.
• Ensure you have the MDM Command Center Explorer role or have the MDM Command Center Explorer privileges enabled.

MDM Command Center Explorer privileges:

• API Access
• MDM - Stewardship
• MDM - View Repositories

With Advanced Security turned on, you must have the following entitlements:

• MDM - View Records

  Read User Management settings to learn more about configuring access for users.

Access Command Center with SSO

You can now access Command Center through Data Hub using Single Sign-On (SSO).
