Prerequisites
Knowledge Hub is an Early Access release. Refer to the Early Access disclaimer for details.
Before you start using Knowledge Hub, confirm that your account and environment meet the following requirements.
Boomi account and enrollment
| Requirement | Details |

| Boomi account | An active Boomi account with Knowledge Hub enabled. Contact your Boomi account representative for licensing details. |
| Early Access program enrollment | During Early Access, your account must be enrolled in the Knowledge Hub Early Access program. Request access through the Early Access page. |
| Knowledge Hub role | Your account administrator must assign you the Administrator role in Knowledge Hub. Refer to Access and permissions overview for role details and what you see if you do not have one. |
| API Access privilege | The account entitlement that lets you use the Boomi API to access account data. Required to generate the platform token that authenticates the Data Integration connection to Knowledge Hub. Ask your administrator to assign this entitlement if you do not have it. |
| Agentstudio license (optional) | Only needed if AI agents will consume your Knowledge Base. It is not required to create or ingest data into one. |
Boomi Data Integration access
In Early Access, Boomi Data Integration is the only supported data provider for Knowledge Hub. All data enters Knowledge Hub through a Data Integration source-to-target flow. A Data Integration license is required to connect any data source. For more information, refer to Data Integration.
You need:
- An active Data Integration license on your Boomi account.
- Access to the Data Integration service within your account.
- Permission to create and deploy source-to-target flows in Data Integration.
Without Data Integration access, you cannot connect data sources or run ingestion. Knowledge Hub without Data Integration has no ingest capability in Early Access.
Supported data sources and credentials
Knowledge Hub ingests data through Data Integration connectors. Before setting up a Source, confirm that you have valid credentials for the connector you intend to use.
The following connectors are supported at Early Access.

Knowledge Hub is currently available only on the North America platform during Early Access.
