Creating a flat file record format
Add child records or insert a record into a flat file profile.
Procedure

On the Data Elements tab, click the blue arrow next to an existing record format, such as the top-level record.

Select Add Child Record or Insert Record.

Click the newly-created record node and give it a logical name.

Import or manually add and configure elements under the new record node.
