Creating a JSON profile from the Component Explorer

Quickly create JSON profiles in a selected folder.

Procedure

1. On the Build page in the Component Explorer, navigate to the folder in which you want to create the JSON profile.

2. Click the blue arrow next to the folder.

3. Click the New Component link.

   The Create Component dialog opens with the folder selected.

4. Click the Type list, then select Profile.

5. Type a name for the profile.

   The maximum length is 255 characters.

6. Click the Profile Format list, then select JSON.

7. Click Create.

   The component appears on a tab with the name you entered. Below that there is a Data Elements tab.
