Adding a dynamic process property

You can set a property value in the beginning of the process and then retrieve it later in a different part of the process. A dynamic process property is a single "on-the-fly" property that you create.

  1. Open a process and add or configure a step (such as the Set Properties step).

  2. Click the Add Property icon.

    The Choose Property dialog opens.

  3. Select Dynamic Process Property.

  4. Type a property name.

  5. To persist the property value across subsequent executions, turn onĀ Persist this property.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Click OK to save the step.

  8. Click Save to save the process.
