Adding a custom role giving read-only access to Runtime Management

Add custom roles in the Settings > Account Access > User Management > Custom Roles tab.

  1. Select Settings click the User Management tab under Account Access.

  2. On the Custom Roles tab click the Add icon.

The Add/Edit Role dialog opens.

  1. Enter the role name, for example, Read Only Runtime Management.

  2. Enter a description.

  3. In the Inherits Role list, do one of the following:

  • Select Does not inherit a role.

  • Select Support, which does not include the Runtime Management privilege.

  1. Select the Runtime Management Read Access - Read access to Runtime configuration and administration check box.

  2. If you want users to have other privileges, select additional privileges to apply to the custom role.

Do not assign to them the Runtime Management privilege because it will allow them to modify Runtime, Runtime cluster, and Runtime cloud properties and settings.

  1. Click OK.

  2. Assign this custom role to the users.
