Adding a constraint to an element in an XML profile

Constraints are available only in XML profiles created prior to the September 2013 release. XML profiles created after this release use instance identifiers instead.

Procedure

1. Select the element in the tree.

2. Expand the Constraints section on the right.

3. Click Add Constraint.

4. In the Constraint Element field, click the Browse icon and select an element from the list.

5. Select one of the following constraint types:

   • Value

   • Occurrence

6. Enter the text or number to constrain by.

7. Click Save.
