Multi-factor authentication using Time-based one-time password (TOTP)

When Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is enabled, the next time users log in with their username and password, they are prompted to verify their identity using a Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP).

Configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

The site security policies require using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Procedure

  1. Install a Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) authenticator application on your mobile device.
  2. Open the Authenticator application and choose to Add a new account or Scan a QR code.
  3. Scan the provided QR code.
  4. The application generates a 6-digit verification code after scanning the QR code.
  5. Enter the verification code during the login process.

After completing this setup, the subsequent login attempts prompt for the TOTP verification code:
