Notifications
Notifications lets you receive email alerts for various transactions within a selected folder. This feature is ideal for shared folders among multiple users, letting you track all changes made to the content.
You can only set notifications for folders, not files.

Modifying transaction types received for a folder
Procedure
- Navigate to the Boomi Managed File Transfer File Sharing site.
- Click Notifications tab.
- Select the folder you want to modify from the notifications tab, and click Modify.

By default, a folder added to notifications has all the transactions checked for messages.

Uncheck the transactions for which you don't want to receive email notifications and click Save when completed.

Activating/Deactivating a folder
If you want to disable notifications for a folder and turn them on later, you can Activate or Deactivate a folder within Notifications.
Procedure
- Navigate to the Managed File Transfer File Sharing site.
- Click Notifications tab.
- Select the checkbox next to the folder and do one of the following:
- Click Deactivate to deactivate a folder or file. A red "X" appears at the Active status if a folder is deactivated.
- Click Activate to activate a folder or file. A green check mark will appear on the Active status if a folder is activated.
Removing a folder from Notifications
From the Notifications tab, select the checkbox next to the folder you want to remove and click Remove. When Remove is selected, the folder will no longer appear under Notifications.
