Setting file system purge period

The "File system purge period" option lets you set how long files are retained before they are automatically deleted from the system.

File deletion process

  1. Deleted files are temporarily stored on the MFT server.
  2. Files can be restored during a configurable grace period.
  3. Set grace period length in hours.
  4. After the grace period, files are permanently purged from the system.
