Submitting an allow list request for MFT file sharing

You can submit an allow list request when one of your customers, vendors, or clients is trying to connect to one of the following MFT hosted internal FTPS/SFTP hosts:

LocationHost
USusnc-sftps.thruinc.net
UKuks-sftp.thruinc.net
EUeu-sftps.thruinc.net
AUSaue-sftp.thruinc.net
US Sandboxus-ftpsbx.thruinc.net

We have 2 ways for a MFT customer to submit an allow list request. Send an email - helpcenter@thruinc.com or create a support ticket on our support page. If your customer, vendor, or client reaches out to us with an allow list request, we will ask them to contact you. We only process allow list requests for MFT customers. Before you submit, verify the IPs are valid.

Verify your IPs

Check the IP address. If you have issues determining your IPs are valid, contact your network administrator. Provide MFT the correct information so your vendor, customer, or client can connect successfully without any issues the first time. Public IP addresses are assigned by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, and are routable over the Internet. Private IP addresses are not routable over the Internet; they are intended to be used within a facility.

note
  • Make sure you are submitting a valid routable public IP address.
  • Only submit static public IP address.
  • Make sure the request is for an FTPS/SFTP inbound connection to MFT and not HTTPS
  • If you provide a subnet it must be below /29 which is 8 IPs. Anything higher like /28 requires evidence that documents your company owns the subnet.
