IP Allow List
You can submit an allowlist request to connect to one of the following MFT hosted internal FTPS/SFTPS hosts:
- Site: https://us.thruinc.com/ FTPS/SFTP Host: us-sftps.thruinc.com
- Site https://uk.thruinc.com/ FTPS/SFTP Host: uk-sftps.thruinc.com
- Site https://eu.thruinc.com/ FTPS/SFTP Host: eu-sftps.thruinc.com
- Site https://au.thruinc.com/ FTPS/SFTP Host: au-sftps.thruinc.com
There are two ways to submit an allowlist request. We require this particular request to be documented.
- Create a support ticket on our support page. (In the future, we may add additional methods to submit these requests.)
- If your customer, vendor, or client reaches out to us with an allowlist request, we will ask them to contact you.
We only process allowlist requests for MFT customers. Before submitting, verify that the IPs are valid.
Verify Your List of IPs are Valid
Check the IP address. If you have issues determining whether your IPs are valid, contact your network administrator. It is important to provide MFT with the correct information so your vendor, customer, or client can connect successfully without any issues the first time.
- Public IP addresses are assigned by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, and are routable over the Internet.
- Private IP addresses are not routable over the Internet; they are intended to be used within a facility.
tip
- Make sure you are submitting a valid routable public IP address.
- Only submit a static public IP address.
- Make sure the request is for an FTPS/SFTP inbound connection to MFT and not HTTPS.
- If you provide a subnet, it must be below /29, which is 8 IPs. Anything higher, like /28, requires evidence that documents your company owns the subnet.
