MFT HTTPS

The MFT HTTPS endpoint type allows manual upload from the UI. The UI upload endpoint supports unlimited file sizes and is resumable.

You must first create the endpoint under an organization. Then you can add it to a flow to be used as a source.

  1. In Flow Studio, click the Actions and select Upload Files.

    The File Upload widget displays.

  2. Click to browse files to upload or drag and drop a file into the window.

If the connection breaks or you navigate away from the page, you can always come back and resume a transfer.

Once an upload has completed, you can then close the window.

This endpoint type is accessible to partners granted service access, streamlining the upload process for them. Refer to Transfer Users.

Transfer users

Instance admins can create a dedicated Org Transfer user. This user can only upload and download files through the web portal, and their access is restricted to the specific Organizations they are assigned to.

Org Transfer users can be associated with one or more organizations. They may only be allowed to upload or download files to or from flows subscribed to the associated organizations.

Options are available to define a Default Upload Flow Endpoint.

Org transfer

When an Org Transfer user signs into the portal, the access is limited to the following portal elements:

  • File upload page with a selection of flows in the associated Organizations that have a Manual Upload flow endpoint configured

  • The Activity page displays only file-related activity for the associated organization, with options to manually download files.
