Deleting and restoring a packaged component version

You can delete or restore a specific version of a packaged component from the Deploy > Packaged Component page.

A packaged component version is not eligible for deletion if it is currently deployed to one or more environments, is published to the Process Library, or is released as part of an integration pack.

  1. Go to Deploy > Packaged Components, locate a version of a packaged component that you want to delete from the list.

  2. Click the Action icon and select Delete Packaged Component from the list of options.

Cursor selects the Delete Packaged Component option from the Action menu.

  3. Click OK to continue with the deletion, or Cancel to return to the Packaged Components page without making any changes.

Packaged components cannot be deleted if it is currently in use.

  4. To restore the deleted packaged component, apply the Show Deleted Packaged Component filter at the top of the packaged components table. A list of deleted packaged component versions appears in the results. Use the Status column to sort by Active and Deleted statuses.

    note

If the status column does not show any deleted packaged component versions after applying the filter, this means there are no deleted packaged components on the account at this time.

  5. In the same row as the packaged component with a "Deleted" status, click the Action icon and select Restore Packaged Component from the list of options.

Cursor selects the Restore Packaged Component option from the Action menu.

Deleted packaged components can be restored, however, you cannot reuse a version value in a new packaged component if a deleted packaged component already has that value. When a packaged component version is restored, it can again be deployed and added to the Process Library and integration packs.
