Partner connectors developed by our Tech Partners and published on the Boomi platform provide seamless integration solutions for customers. Customers will initiate support for these connectors through the Boomi Support Portal, where tickets will be triaged to the respective partner. The partner or their designated third party is responsible for ongoing support, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and resolving related issues.

Connector configuration

To configure the connector to communicate with OANDA Exchange Rate API, set up two components:

  • OANDA Exchange Rate API - Partner connection

  • OANDA Exchange Rate API - Parnter operation

This structure allows for reusable components that contain connection settings (authentication) nand operation settings (data retrieval actions). Once the connection and operation are created, they can be used in a Boomi process to retrieve data from OANDA and map it to or from virtually any system.

Connection

The OANDA Exchange Rate API connection represents a single API subscription using your API key for authentication:

  • Uses custom authentication via an API key entered in a secure custom entry field.

  • Each connection corresponds to one OANDA API subscription.

Operation

The OANDA Exchange Rate API operation defines how the data is retrieved:

  • Supports the GET action on exchange rate resources.

  • Compatible with JSON, CSV, and XML data formats.

  • Create separate operation components for each action/object combination (e.g., real-time rates, historical data, etc.).

Supported editions

This connector supports all subscription plans of the OANDA Exchange Rate API.

Prerequisites

Before implementing the connector:

  • Sign up for an OANDA Exchange Rate API subscription.
