InEight - Partner connector

info

Partner connectors developed by our Tech Partners and published on the Boomi platform provide seamless integration solutions for customers. Customers will initiate support for these connectors through the Boomi Support Portal, where tickets will be triaged to the respective partner. The partner or their designated third party is responsible for ongoing support, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and resolving related issues.

The InEight — Partner connector enables construction and engineering companies to seamlessly integrate their project management processes with the InEight through
Boomi's Integration platform. InEight is a comprehensive project controls platform that helps organizations manage cost, schedule, risk, and change across complex
construction and engineering projects.

The InEight — Partner connector enables you to create, read, update, and delete
project data from Boomi processes, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous
operations for optimal performance and reliability.

note

The documentation for this connector is provided by a partner.

Connector configuration

To configure the connector, set up the following two components:

  • InEight - Partner connection: The connection page contains all the connection parameters as well as documenting the use of OAuth 2.0 for authentication and authorization.

  • InEight - Partner operation: The operation page describes all the functional operations available that interact with the different InEight modules. Each operation supports specific HTTP methods GET, POST, PATCH, and DELETE
according to the API’s capabilities for that module.

Prerequisites

The connector requires the following InEight account information:

  • Subscription key for API management
  • API access enabled for your tenant
  • Client ID and client secret for OAuth 2.0 authentication
  • Tenant ID and tenant prefix configuration
  • Access key (optional) for enhanced rate limiting and performance
    optimization
