Amazon Bedrock changelog

2026-03 (Version 4, Current)

  • Added AWS Region Override for IAM Roles Anywhere: Support for independent region configuration between authentication (IAM Roles Anywhere) and Bedrock service access. This allows authentication in one region while accessing models in another.
  • Added Custom Region Support: A new text field to manually specify AWS regions for Roles Anywhere if they are not present in the standard dropdown.

  • Added the Invoke Agent operation.
  • Added support for OpenAI models.
