SFTP changelog

Updated

Changelog

2026-09 (Version 8, Current)

  • Added support for the Standard SFTP connector's LIST operation to retrieve files from nested sub-directories up to five levels deep in a single run.

  • Added an Include Initial Content option to the SFTP Listen operation to process files that were added while the listener was inactive or restarting. When enabled, use Action After Read to prevent the same files from being processed again after subsequent listener restarts.

2026-07 (Version 6)

  • Enhanced the SFTP connector to support remote sub-directories for Read and List operations as an operation property, enabling access to files across multiple sub-folders through a single connection. It enables the connector to be used as a start shape while simplifying connection management and reuse.

2026-06 (Version 5)

  • Resolved an issue affecting memory use during SFTP File Object list operations. Large file listings are now processed efficiently and consistently, restoring expected behavior across supported runtime configurations.

2026-05 (Version 4)

  • Enhanced the SFTP List operation with advanced post-processing actions, including Delete, and Move, for improved file management efficiency.

  • Added post-action support for managing files after listing, such as moving files to a different directory. For File Metadata object types, the post-action option is restricted to “None”.

  • Added delete post-action support to simplify file cleanup after listing operations.

  • Enhanced file retrieval with sorting support based on the last modified timestamp for improved workflow efficiency.

2025-05 (Version 2)

  • The SFTP connector is released as General Availability (GA) on May 24, 2025.

  • Polling interval has a default of 60 seconds.

  • Packaged Bouncy Castle 1.70 with the connector.

  • Connector now recovers itself when there is a temporary network problem.

2025-04 (Version 1)

  • Initial release of Tech Preview.
