Environment settings

Change the general environment settings, such as the name, and default player.

You can view and change the following environment settings:

• Environment Name: The environment name. For example, this is shown as the name of the environment tab, and on the Environments page. The default names are Development, Test, and Production.
• Description: A description for the environment. This is shown on the Environments page, as the environment Description.
• Environment ID: This read-only field shows the ID of the environment. This is assigned automatically,and is used in the Flow Run URL to indicate which environment to run the flow in.For example:

  https://us.flow-prod.boomi.com/[Tenant ID]/play/default/?flow-id=[Flow ID]&environment-id=[Environment ID]
  
• Select a default player: Specify a default player that flows should use when being run in the environment.
• Select environment as default: Make the current environment the default environment.
  • The default environment is used if you run a flow without an Environment ID in the Flow Run URL.
  • The production environment is set as the default, but you can make any environment the default.

If you have made any changes to the settings, click the Save button to save and commit your changes.
