Environments in Multi-Cloud Runtime

The primary objective of enabling environments in Boomi Flow is to facilitate the management of Flow releases through the Multi-Cloud Runtime (MCR). This setup allows precise control over how flows are deployed and executed across different environments, such as development, testing, and production.

Promoting a release through the environments directs the release to the MCR node. When you execute a Flow, the system runs the appropriate Flow version based on the specific environment in which it operates. This process ensures you interact with the correct Flow version tailored to your operational needs.
