Adding a Flow to a release

- Click the Build icon in the canvas options menu to open the Build Flow form.
- Enter a new release name.
- Select the release from the Add to release field drop-down menu.
- Click Build Flow to build the Flow and add it to the release.
- You can continue to build flows and add them to the release.
- You can promote the release to the next environment. For more information, refer to Promoting a release.
This step notifies the MCR node that a new release has been created or changed. The node downloads the release (containing Flows and Themes) and deploys it to the development environment on the node. Once complete, the node calls back to the cloud to update it on the outcome. If successful, the UI will display the message: Your flow has been built and deployed to development successfully.
If unsuccessful, you will view an error notification in the bottom right, and the screen will not change: Please ensure your MCR node is up to date and online as the publish attempt was not acknowledged.
At this point, the release will exist but not be deployed to the node's development environment. If the node was offline and is back, you can build the Flow again by selecting the release created, which will build and deploy again.
