Selecting steps on the Flow canvas

There are a number of ways you can select and highlight steps on the Flow canvas.

Selecting a single step

To select a single step on the Flow canvas:

1. Either:

   • Left-click on the step. A dotted line around the step indicates that it is currently selected.
   • Right-click and drag a canvas selection box around the relevant step. Release to select the step contained within the canvas selection box.

2. Perform actions as required on the step, such as moving it to a new position on the canvas, selecting another step, deleting the step and so on.

Selecting multiple steps

To simultaneously select multiple steps on the Flow canvas:

1. Either:

   • Press Ctrl and left-click on multiple steps to add them to your selection. A dotted line around each step indicates that it is currently selected.
   • Right-click and drag a canvas selection box around the relevant steps. Release to select the steps contained within the canvas selection box.

2. Perform actions as required on the steps, such as moving them to a new position on the canvas, deleting the steps, grouping them, and so on.
