Overview
When a step is added to the flow canvas, a configuration panel opens that allows you to define a number of additional configuration options for the step.
For example, all steps allow you to add comments, but only some will allow you to add outcomes directly in the configuration panel. These configuration options are displayed by expanding the Advanced section of the configuration panel.
The following configuration options are available for steps:

| Adding Outcomes to a step | Outcomes are usually added on the flow canvas, but you can also add an outcome for a step directly from the configuration panel, or manage outcomes already applied to the step. |
