Overview

When a step is added to the flow canvas, a configuration panel opens that allows you to define a number of additional configuration options for the step.

For example, all steps allow you to add comments, but only some will allow you to add outcomes directly in the configuration panel. These configuration options are displayed by expanding the Advanced section of the configuration panel.

The following configuration options are available for steps:

Adding Comments to a step	Comments can be added to a step to record useful information.
Adding Feedback to a step	Display a customized feedback message to users who are not authorized to perform an action (optional).
Adding Listeners to a step	A listener is used to listen to and monitor for events on objects stored or managed by a .
Adding Macros to an operator step	Define a macro to be performed by an operator mstep, to create or update values in a flow.
Adding Message Actions to a step	Map values in a flow to the inputs and outputs specified by a .
Configuring Navigation Override on a step	A navigation override is used to override (and modify) the navigation behaviour defined in a flow for a step.
Adding Outcomes to a step	Outcomes are usually added on the flow canvas, but you can also add an outcome for a step directly from the configuration panel, or manage outcomes already applied to the step.
