Setting up arm Treasure Data as a target

This connector is currently in Alpha stage.

Treasure data is not a classic data warehouse and does not hold any tables. It functions as a bucket of events. You can split data by using internal TD transformations. This is CDP, not a database.

Prerequisites

To create Arm Treasure Data as a target in Data Integration, ensure you have:

  • Treasure Data active account. If you do not have an account, create one using Treasure Data's website.
  • Permission to create an API key in the Treasure Data console. If you do not have any permission, contact your Treasure Data admin in your organization.

Creating an API key

To connect Treasure Data in Data Integration, all that is required is Treasure Data's API key.

  1. Connect to your Treasure Data console.
  2. At the bottom of the main menu, click My Settings > API Keys .
  3. Enter your Password and click View.
  4. You can view two keys: The Master Key and the Write-only key. Data Integration requires the Master Key to create tables and manage them on the platform.

Creating New Treasure Data Connection in Data Integration

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Data Integration Account.

  2. Click Connections and select + New Connection.

  3. From the source list, choose Treasure Data.

  4. Paste the API key.

  5. Enter the Connection Name.

  6. Click Save.
