AI troubleshooting agent
The AI troubleshooting agent helps you diagnose and resolve data flow failures directly from the Activity view. When a data flow run fails, click Help Me Fix It next to the error to receive an AI-generated diagnostic report with actionable resolution steps, without opening a support ticket. The platform generates reports on demand only; it does not create a report automatically when a data flow fails.
Prerequisites
- Enable AI troubleshooting feature.
To enable or disable the AI troubleshooting feature for your organization, you must have the account admin role.
Using the AI troubleshooting agent
View a diagnostic report for a failed data flow run
- In the Activities view, click a failed run row. The run detail panel opens on the right, showing the table, duration, and any errors in the Warning/Error column.
- In the Warning/Error column, click Help Me Fix It next to the error message.

If you have already requested a diagnostic report for this run, it appears instantly. Otherwise, a loading state displays while the agent generates the report.
- Review the diagnostic report in the AI-Powered Assistant Solution panel. It includes:
- A header showing the source and target table path. For example,
employees.employees_new.actor → testing_db. - An error callout box with the error message.
- An Issue Summary with the flow type and root cause analysis.
- Action Steps with resolution instructions and credential or configuration details to verify.
- External References with links to relevant documentation.
- A Was this helpful? feedback option to rate the quality of the suggestion.
- A note at the bottom to verify the accuracy of the AI-generated suggestions.

Enable or disable AI troubleshooting for your account
Account admins can turn AI troubleshooting on or off for all users in the account.
- Go to Settings > Account Settings.
- Select the Enable AI Features toggle.
- Set the toggle to ON or OFF:
- ON: The Help Me Fix It button appears on failed data flow runs.
- OFF: The Help Me Fix It button does not appear and the platform sends no data to AI services.
- Click Save.
The changes take effect immediately.
