Email connection

info

Third-party apps or devices that require you to sign in using only a Username and Password are not supported. This restriction affects both Google Workspace and Personal Gmail, and may result in a connection error. To address this issue, refer to this Handling error message section.

Prerequisites

You need to create an email account.

Procedure

You can connect to Email using one of three methods:

  • Gmail OAuth2
  • Outlook OAuth2
  • Credentials

Gmail OAuth2

  1. Navigate to the Data Integration Account.

  2. Click Connections and select + New Connection.

  3. Choose Email connection.

  4. Enter the Connection Name.

  5. Enter your Google Workspace Email Address.

  6. Select the Gmail OAuth2 credentials type.

  7. Click Sign in with Google (make sure your browser does not block pop-ups).

  8. Select Advanced and click Go to Data Integration.

  9. Enter your Username and Password.

  10. Click Test Connection to verify your connection. If the connection succeeds, you can use this connection in Data Integration.
