Boomi Data Integration connection
Updated
The Boomi Data Integration connector is a meta-connector. It syncs operational data about your Boomi Data Integration account, including data flow runs, activity summaries, users, and audit events, into your data warehouse. You can then monitor and report on your usage the same way you report on any other source.
Prerequisite
You need a Boomi Data Integration account with a super-admin API bearer token, and your account ID and environment ID.
Authentication methods
You use a bearer token when you create the connection:
- Bearer token: Your Boomi Data Integration API bearer token.
Retrieving your credentials
- Generate an API bearer token for your Boomi Data Integration account.
- Find your Account ID and Environment ID. They are the first and second ID segments in your Boomi Data Integration console URL. For example, in
https://console.rivery.io/rivers/{account_id}/{environment_id}/new/source-to-target, the first segment is your Account ID, and the second segment is your Environment ID. - Note which regional API host your account runs on: US, EU, AU, or IL. You need the full host URL when you connect.
Creating a connection
- Navigate to the Boomi Data Integration console.
- Select Connections, then select + New Connection.
- Find and select Boomi Data Integration as the connection type.
- Enter a Connection Name to identify this connection.
- Enter your API Bearer Token.
- Enter your Account ID.
- Enter your Environment ID.
- Enter your Region as the full API host URL that matches your account. For example, use
https://api.rivery.iofor US,https://eu-west-1.api.rivery.iofor EU,https://ap-southeast-2.api.rivery.iofor AU, orhttps://api.il-central-1.rivery.iofor IL. - Select Test Connection to confirm that Data Integration can authenticate and reach your account.
- Select Save to finish creating the connection.
Known limitations
- Account ID, Environment ID, and Region are plain text fields. Enter them exactly as they appear in your console URL and account settings. The API cannot list these values, so no picker is available.
- The Activities report requires a date range on every call. Leave the range at its default to pull all available activity summaries, or narrow it to limit the pull.
