Tiktok connection

In Data Integration, you can use your own developer app to connect to your TikTok data. After you log in to your account, you need various READ permissions to read campaign, ad group, and ad-related data.

Prerequisite

Login credentials to a Tiktok account.

Signing in with your Tiktok email and password

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Data Integration Account.

  2. Click Connections and select + New Connection.

  3. Choose Tiktok.

  4. Enter the Connection Name.

  5. Click Connect to Tiktok.

  6. Connect to the Tiktok account that you want to use in Data Integration.

  7. Click Save to add the account to Data Integration.

If nothing happens after clicking Connect to Tiktok, your browser may have blocked the pop-up. To enable display of pop-ups:

  1. On the right side of your browser by the URL, click Pop-up blocked.
  2. Select Always allow popups from Data Integration.
  3. Click Connect to Tiktok again, and a pop-up to connect to Tiktok shows up on your page.
  1. Click Test Connection. If the connection is successful, you are ready to work with this connection in Data Integration.

Troubleshoot permissions

After running a river, if you get a permission error, make sure to enable the required permission in Data Integration TikTok connection login page.

Example error - Missing /ad/get permission.

To resolve this:

  • Enable Read Ads in your Data Integration TikTok connection.
  • In the ads management menu, you must have read campaigns, read adgroups, and read ads to read your ads attribution data:
