Servicenow connection

Prerequisite

• A username and password in Servicenow.
• A URL domain for your data in Servicenow. You must have user permission to access the tables inside the domain.

Creating a Servicenow connection in Data Integration

Procedure

1. Navigate to your Data Integration Account.
2. Click Connections and select + New Connection.
3. Choose Servicenow.
4. Enter and Connection Name and connection details:
   • Username: Your Servicenow username
   • Password: Your Servicenow user's password
   • URL domain: The domain in Servicenow you want to connect with access permissions.
5. Click Save and create the connection.
6. Click Test Connection. If the connection passed, you are ready to work with this connection in Data Integration.

Example of URL domain

When you log in to your Servicenow account, the URL looks like this: https://riverydomain.service-now.com. riverydomain is the URL domain to copy into the URL domain in the connection.
