Search Ads 360 Reporting connection

Google discontinued support for the older version of the Search Ads 360 Reporting API and transitioned to the updated Search Ads 360 Reporting API.
Prerequisites
Two authentication methods are available:
- OAuth.
- Custom Application (located within Advanced Options).
Ensure you meet the following prerequisites before proceeding with the authentication:
- For OAuth authentication: A Gmail account linked to your Search Ads 360 account.
- For Custom Application authentication: This entails a connection with a Google application, and so a paid subscription to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required. If you do not have one, sign up.
- Also, ensure to configure the OAuth consent screen and select the scopes feature. If not created, follow instructions for configuring OAuth consent screen and selecting scopes under Google Workspace.
- Enable the new API within the Google Cloud console.
Establishing a connection
Procedure
- Assign a name to your connection.
- Choose Authentication Type:
- OAuth:
- Click the Connect with Google.

Make sure your browser does not block pop-ups.
- A window appears requesting your authorization for Data Integration to access your X account. To proceed, click Allow.
- Custom Application:
- Specify Client ID and Client Secret.
- Click Connect with Google.

If nothing happens after clicking the Connect with Google button, your browser has blocked the pop-up window. To enable pop-ups:
- On the right side of the URL in your browser, find Pop-up blocked.
- Click on it and select Always allow popups from Data Integration.
- Click again and sign in with Google to connect to your Google account.
- Click Save to save the connection in your Data Integration account.
- Click Test connection. If the test is successful, you can begin working with Search Ads 360.
