Greenhouse connection
Greenhouse is an applicant tracking system (ATS) that recruiting teams use to source candidates, schedule interviews, and track hiring data across the entire talent acquisition process. The Boomi Data Integration Greenhouse connector lets you extract your recruitment and hiring data from Greenhouse and load it into your target destination for reporting and analytics. Built on the Greenhouse Harvest API v3, the connector supports a wide range of reports including Applications, Candidates, Jobs, Offers, Scorecards, and more, with flexible filtering and incremental sync to keep your data up to date.
This connector replaces the legacy Greenhouse connector, which is built on Harvest API v1. As Greenhouse is retiring Harvest API v1 and v2 on August 31, 2026, existing users should migrate to this connector before that date to avoid disruption. For step-by-step instructions, see Migrating from Greenhouse (Legacy) to Greenhouse.
Prerequisites
- A Client ID and Client Secret issued by Greenhouse (Harvest API v3).
- You have permission in Greenhouse's settings for the reports you want to use, including the jobs report.
You can find these details in Greenhouse under Configure → Dev Center → API Credential Management. Create a Harvest API credential, grant the object permissions the connector needs, and copy the Client ID and Client Secret. Greenhouse shows the secret only once.
Procedure
-
Navigate to your Data Integration Console.
-
Select Connections and click +Create New Connection.
-
Choose Greenhouse.
-
In the Create Connection dialog, enter a Connection Name.
-
Enter your OAuth Client ID, issued by Greenhouse for the Harvest API v3 under Configure → Dev Center → API Credential Management.
-
Enter your OAuth Client Secret, paired with the Client ID. Data Integration stores it encrypted at rest.
tipIf you don't have the Client ID or Client Secret yet, click Send External Link to share the connection request with whoever manages your Greenhouse credentials.
-
Click Test Connection to confirm the connection works.
-
Click Save.
If the connection passed, you are ready to work with this connection in Data Integration.
