Handling the app blocked error

When connecting with Sign in with Google, you may receive a This App Is Blocked or Error 400: access_not_configured / Access blocked message. This is due to company policies that restrict adding third-party applications without explicit approval.

To resolve this issue for Google Workspace accounts, you can adjust the settings if you are the Account Administrator.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Security > Access and data control > API controls (https://admin.google.com/ac/owl) in your Google Workspace account.

  2. Click Manage Third Party App Access.

  3. Select Configure New App.

  4. Use the following Client ID for Data Integration:

    934654080921-3if83vsmral3pp3gcrdoh5s74n6agihe.apps.googleusercontent.com and click Search.

  5. Select the Data Integration app.

  6. Choose the Trusted: can access all Google services option before clicking Configure.

  7. Find the Verified symbol.

  8. To establish a successful connection, refresh the Google Ads New Connection page in Data Integration.

note

This Client ID is shared across all Google-based connectors in Data Integration (Email/Gmail, Google Ads, and others). If your administrator has already allowlisted it for another Google connector, no further action is needed.
